HELP ANIMALS IN BKSDA CENTRAL SULAWESI
Today the Animals Warrior team went to Palu, to the office of BKSDA Central Sulawesi. The area around their office is still paralyzed by the earthquake that occurred on September 28, 2018. At the BKSDA office, there is 1 crocodile, 1 eagle, 2 Moluccan cockatoos, 2 yellow-crested cockatoos, 5 black head parrots, 1 parrot, and 2 maleo birds. These animals are confiscated by the BKSDA Central Sulawesi.
Since the earthquake occurred, the animals were in cages without eating or drinking because all of the BKSDA staff were affected by the disaster. This morning, the team communicated briefly with the keeper and offered temporary maintenance there. The team also provided fresh fruit and corn to feed the animals, and luckily the fruit market return to open. Don’t forget drinking water for these animals. These are all the activities that will be carried out during disaster response.

BANTU SATWA GEMPA DI BKSDA SULTENG
Hari ini tim Animals Warrior yang terjun ke Palu datang ke kantor BKSDA Sulawesi Tengah. Daerah sekitar kantornya masih lumpuh karena gempa yang terjadi 28 September 2018 ini. Di kantor BKSDA terdapat 1 buaya, 1 elang, 2 kakatua molucencis, 2 kakatua jambul kuning, 5 nuri kepala hitam, 1 bayan dan 2 burung maleo. Satwa-satwa tersebut merupakan sitaan BKSDA Sulteng.
Sejak gempa terjadi, meraka yang di kandang tanpa makan dan minuman karena semua staf BKSDA Sulteng terdampak bencana ini. Pagi tadi, tim berkomunikasi singkat dengan penjaga dan menawarkan pemeliharaan sementara di sana. Tim pun memberikan pakan buah segar dan jangung yang kebetulan sekali sudah ada penjual buah yang berjualan. Tak lupa air minum untuk satwa-satwa tersebut. Ini merupakan kegiatan yang akan dilakukan selama tanggap bencana.
