SUNDAY COOKING FOR ORANGUTANS

Last Sunday, I had a lot of fun cooking with my friends and learning about orangutans with COP. We started off by watching a video about different monkeys and apes and we learnt that orangutans eat vegetables and fruits. We learnt that the difference between monkeys and orangutans is that monkeys have tails and orangutans don’t.
When we were cooking, I made about five or six crepes. Sarah from Loka-loka Bistro taught us how to make crepes and watermelon punch. My friends and I were really happy that the money we paid to do the class was going to orangutan protection. Thank you to COP and Loka-loka Bistro. We hope we can do it again soon. Minggu lalu, saya dan teman-teman bersenang-senang dan belajar tentang orangutan dengan COP. Kami memulainya dengan menonton video tentang perbedaan monyet dengan kera besar, yaitu monyet munta ekor dan kera tidak memiliki ekor. Kami juga belajar tentang orangutan dan makanannya, sayuran dan buah-buahan.
Saat kami memasak, saya membuat lima atau enam krep. Sarah dari Loka-loka Bistro mengajarkan kami membuat krep dan minuman semangka. Saya dan teman-teman sangant senang, uang yang kami keluarkan di kegiatan ini untuk perlindungan orangutan. Terimakasih COP dan Loka-loka Bistro. Kami berharap ada kegiatan seperti ini lagi nantinya.
