EYES OF ORANGUTAN BABY
Don’t look at them in the eyes, or you’ll guarantee to fall in love. The eyes of Orangutan babies are known to be the magnet that steal our hearts in an instance. Its cute little body would make you want to cuddle and keep them like your own child, but be aware that Orangutans grow, and they grow real fast. Their physical strength will multiplied, their natural wild behaviors will emerge, you will be forced to keep them in cages and imprisoned them eventually. They will suffer, you will suffer. Please don’t let this happened. Orangutans are not toys or pets, they belong in the wild.
Popi was a newly born when COP rescued her. She lost her mother to the poacher who wanted to sell her as a pet in the illegal wildlife market, there are many people who’d be willing to pay lots of money to the poacher for baby Orangutans. Please don’t be these people. For the past 17 months, Popi had been living in our rescue center, going through our rehabilitation program, we are teaching her on how to be an Orangutan and will do our hardest to someday successfully return Popi back where she belongs; into the wild. Jangan tatap matanya… atau kamu akan jatuh cinta!
Mata bayi orangutan memang seperti magnet yang akan membuat kita jatuh hati padanya. Tubuh mungilnya akan membuatmu ingin memeluk dan memeliharanya. TAPI… itu hanya sesaat. Bayi-bayi orangutan akan tubuh dengan cepat dan kamu tidak akan bisa membendung sifat alami liarnya. Kekuatannya pun akan terus bertambah seiring usianya.
Dan orangutan pun terpaksa menderita di balik kandang besi dinginmu!
Popi… bayi orangutan yang baru saja lepas tali pusarnya saat diselamatkan COP. Harus kehilangan induknya karena keinginan manusia memeliharanya. Selama tujuh belas bulan ini, Pusat Rehabilitasi Orangutan COP Borneo merawatnya. Popi tumbuh menjadi bayi orangutan lainnya.
