HAPPI IS PEEKING PINGPONG’S CORN
Don’t know how these two orangutans can be close to each other. The introvert Happi approaches Pingpong, his senior who is the laziest to climb trees. Ooo.. apparently it’s the corn that takes Happi attention!
Happi is an orangutan who shocked the animal keepers when he was 3 years old. How come Happi who had never made his own nest, even his friends at forest school had never made a nest themselves, all of a sudden made his own nest up on a tree. It wasn’t a very good shape nest, but day by day his nest is getting better.
Happi often forgot if he was on the top of a tree and ignored the animal keeper who called his name when it’s time to drink milk, even she have never seemed to be friendly to other orangutans. But today is different. Before he climbs, he sees Pingpong is shucking the corn peacefully. Maybe Happi is curious, why Pingpong takes so long to shuck the corn.

HAPPI MENGINTIP JAGUNG PINGPONG
Entah bagaimana ceritanya kedua orangutan ini bisa saling berdekatan. Happi yang sangat penyendiri mendekati Pinpong, seniornya yang paling malas untuk memanjat pohon. Owh… ternyata jagung menjadi daya tarik tersendiri untuk Happi.
Happi adalah orangutan yang saat usianya menginjak 3 tahun mengejutkan para animal keeper. bagaimana tidak, Happi yang tak pernah membuat sarang bahkan teman-temannya di kelas sekolah hutan pun tak ada yang pernah membuat sarang, tiba-tiba saja Happi melakukannya di atas pohon. Belum rapi tapi hari demi hari, sarang buatannya semakin kokoh.
Happi yang sering lupa kalau sudah berada di atas pohon dan sering mengabaikan animal keeper yang memanggilnya untuk saatnya minum susu pun tak pernah terlihat dekat dengan orangutan lainnya. Tapi berbeda dengan hari ini. Sebelum dia memanjat pohon, dia melihat Pingpong sedang asik membuka jagung. Mungkin Happi merasa heran, kenapa Pingpong terlihat lama sekali membuka kulit jagung.
“Inilah asiknya berada di sekolah hutan. Ada saja cerita tak biasa.”, ujar drh. Flora.
